Thinking in Life

Woodland Walking Coaching

I only went out for a walk, and finally concluded to stay out till sundown, for going out, I found, was really going in - John Muir

Sometimes in our personal lives we need space to ponder, to deliberate or to reflect. We need Thinking Space.

If we continue to think in the same old ways, we typically get the same old results. When we need to think afresh, we need to think ‘outside the box’.  But we at Thinking Space say, forget about the box and lets just go think outside instead!  Thinking Space offers personal and executive walking coaching in the inspiring beech woods of Buckinghamshire.

Why outside, why walking and what's wrong with a nice comfy chair?  Well, we discovered that somehow it’s just seems easier to move your mind forward if you can move your body forward at the same time, especially if you’re somewhere inspiring.  It can help provide a different viewpoint on your life.

The key obstacles in our lives are often created from key, often untrue, obstacles in our thinking.  Gentle thought-provoking coaching in a lovely setting can allow us to uncover our own blocks and work out our own way forward.

Testimonials

The whole coaching experience has put me in a much stronger position to face redundancy and understand what I want out of life ..  I am so grateful for the strength you've given me. All in all, a great experience - you were a great coach and I would recommend you to anyone!  GR

Coaching was helpful to me by  ... being guided through the process of narrowing down an overwhelming array of possibilities, and being gently steered in the right direction through getting asked the questions that helped me work out what that direction should be.  Having someone to ask "why not?" when I'd ruled out something as an impossibility helped me break down barriers that didn't really exist and doing and discussing exercises that helped establish what my values and needs are - especially when several different exercises brought up the same results, enabled me to fix in my mind for the first time what's important to me, and what I can't live without.  HR

I went to the woods
because I
wished to live deliberately,
to front only the essential facts
of life,
and see if I could not learn
what it had to teach,
and not,
when I came to die,
discover that I had not lived

(Henry David Thoreau)
